I had "fork reflectors"...or i should say pieces,of them from the wreck...  .And i don't see any on any of the, different pics i bring up from 2002-2007 they weren't an option were they. any quik help thank you

They are stock, the first thing I pulled off when I brought my bike home. They are stuck on with double-face tape.

Most people remove the ugly DOT required pieces of plastic.

Fork reflectors will also F your pictures up. Especially when you use a flash. All you get is reflector. Do yourself a favor and leave em' off...

And the second thing to take off is the dummy warning labels stuck all over the bike. Things like " never stick your hand in the spokes while moving"

Well i bought the darn reflectors for nothing , by the replys i'm getting I should jus send them back.I like the answer about sticking one on my wifes forehead.thats sounds like something i would say   .back to the years...any help on this...i gottem i'm gonna use em.please  fellas help me here??

I actually used mine. I stuck the orange ones on the backside of my saddle bags. The red ones off the rear fender are still in a sack somewhere.

One source claims 1969 may have been the first year that the US DOT required said reflectors.
I'm guessing here, but as the bikes are British made for the "world market", perhaps the reflectors get applied by the US dealers? If that is the case, it could be that some bikes roll off the showroom floor without.
For the sake of having a bike correct as built when new, I don't think you will be in error to have the reflectors on any US issue Hinckley Triumph. The last bike I owned prior to my current Triumph was a 1978 Yamaha (designed to emulate a BSA Gold Star.) It had these reflectors.

None of my Americas has had reflectors....except on the the sissy bar. That got taken off! So I suspect put on by the US dealers may be the case.
My Kymco, however, has little reflectors, that I haven't taken off. They are so little and could be a right pain to take off, as they are not stick on and on the forks.

stick em where ever you desire. this image here was the official photo from hinckley and has no reflectors. Getting t-boned? a silly reflector won't shield you. If they can't see you with a headlight on, do you think they are going to see their own reflection in a little bitty reflector? Cinnamon girl has her reflector removed. Vera Lynn doesn't. Never much gave a dammm about removing them or replacing them on Cinnamon Girl. Who freaking cares about anything other than the motorsickle being mechanically sound, oh yeah and having a full tank of gas and a dog sniffable stash? ride man. just fire her up, aim it in a straight line then see if you can pull the lead stops off the carb side of the throttle cables. in case you really truly want to be anal retentive and install the reflectors on the fork tubes, here is where the defunct stealership I bought Vera Lynn from installed them... Yeah, actually Bryn, you're correct. (and to maybe put this "dire" issue to rest, once and for all here folks...) It IS, a "USA thing", and has been since January 1, 1969, a D.O.T.(United States Department of Transportation) mandated equipment device on all new vehicles sold in this country. They also can, and must, be added upon import if these reflectors were not included as standard from the factory. ____________________________________________________________ D.O.T.Standard No. 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment - Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks, Buses, Trailers, (except pole trailers and trailer converter dollies), and Motorcycles (Effective 1-1-68 for vehicles 2,032 mrn (80 or more inches) in width and Effective 1-1-69 for all other vehicles) This standard specifies requirements for original and replacement lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. Yep, must be a US only thing. They're supplied with bikes for Australia but not fitted or required here. I grabbed a set that was headed for the bin when I was at the dealer and stuck them all over the back of my trailer.

BTW, some folks who are old enough(like me) might remember the difference between the Lucas taillamp design for the 1968, and the 1969 model year and later Triumphs, and indeed all the britbikes still in manufacture and imported into the U.S. by that date, with the '68s being the last bikes to have the old "classic" taillamp assembly, sans the arrow-shaped side reflectors which first appeared on the '69s and later U.S. models.
And THEN, later on in the '70s, those Lucas taillamps got REALLY large and REALLY squared-off, and with large rectangular side reflectors...and REALLY ugly, compared to the older Lucas designs!(well, in my opinion anyway)

I am a little confused as to weather you have the reflectors you need or not but if you need them you can have mine for the postage it costs to send them to you.

I'll have you know I've been thinkin' of finally organizin' MY garage and gettin' rid of ALL that old useless crap that's been just sittin' around collectin' dust in there, and I was figurin' THIS was MY chance to finally get rid of those friggin' REFLECTORS once and for all!!! (and so...no cut-zees here, bro!...the line starts BEHIND ME, ol' buddy!!!)

AMA Vintage days going on two years ago when Triumph was the featured marquee. Triumph corporate wanted a first model year Bonneville America. Vera Lynn got a free ride to Ohio and back while I was stretching the throttle cables on Cinnamon Girl with englishyankee as we rode up to and back from the NH Rally. I figured Vera Lynn would represent that first model year as black is the bestest colour and the only colour for a true classic.

The whole reason for side reflectors is for night riding so that if you are sitting perpendicular to oncoming traffic they can see your reflectors as light is actually invisible. It is a safety item that does make sense but it takes away from the bike as well. You make the call, its your bike.

After I avoided getting rear ended for the third time at night I went to the local auto parts store and bought a $5 roll of reflective red tape.
I applied it liberally to the back end of my saddle bags and I have not had a another close encounter since.
The Romulian Cloaking Device that was installed by the Factory has been negated by those little pieces of tape for the meantime.
07 Speedmstr, Long Tors, bags, sissy bar and rack, windshield, engine bars, 2 ww lights, 2 fast eddy stickers and a .45 ACP.
