Can anyone tell me what size bolt goes into the right side foot control bar, not the fat bolt, but the skinny one that keeps the WHOLE FRIGGIN ASSEMBLY from rotating?
Having your footboard start moving while you're doing 70 down a 2 lane highway is a bit ...disconcerting.

Sorry John, only a guess here, but it looks to me like maybe an 8mm Buttonhead bolt you're missing there.
(BTW, word is the people who saw you on the highway today said that that was the absolute WORST Kevin Bacon impression they ever saw!...get IT???..."Footloose"!!!....oh, never mind!!!)

YEAH?! You think THIS ONE was bad, do ya?! Well then, check out that "mm to inches" thread in the Misc Forum! That one will give ya a whole NEW "appreciation" about how bad I can REALLY get with this stuff!!! (BTW, let me know if I was right about that bolt bein' an 8mm...if not, I suppose I can take my footpeg off to remove the bolt you're talkin' about that's underneath the pivot-point, and then measure the one you need)

On my '09 America the right side footboard bracket, (and former peg bracket too), is fixed in place with a fat bolt, and a 'roll pin' to stop rotation, not a skinny bolt. Left side uses a thin bolt to stop rotation.

I've had the mounting bolts come loose on both sides, used red loc-tite and not had a problem since.
