I'm having serious issues with the procom CDI. When I first installed it, my bike did great. Then it started dying at stops. It would restart just fine and run. Then it started running rough. I reinstalled my OEM. Later I mounted my procom in a position to switch between OEM and procom. Reconnected procom and the bike ran good for about a minute then it started cutting up, backfiring like the plug wires were reversed and would go dead. It would restart fine then after about 30 seconds the same thing. I contacted procom and they exchanged it no problem. The exchange came and I connected it. The bike would start and idle no problem. After about 30 seconds it would die. It would restart and idle again with no problem and after about 30 seconds, die. Then it would run on only one cylinder. I reconnected the OEM CDI and it runs with no issues. I've set the dial on the procomm CDI to position 5 to match my OEM CDI number. What other settings are you Speedmaster and America owners using? Do you have any suggestions how I might resolve this issue. Otherwise I'm sending mine back for a refund. Thanks. HD
