Another thing I noticed when looking at the pics. The DNA's are slightly angled to fit with the bonnevilles. Our carbs dont have that angle to them. So I'm thinking these will angle downward a bit and definately conflict with the battery.
Notice the plastic tab in this picture where it meets up with the edge of the k&n
Looks like more than an inch longer based on that plastic tab.
I was thinking even if there was a way to move the battery under the seat and make brackets to hold the side covers on...you'd have a hole of nothing where the battery used to be.
