I used to have a cut away airbox to make room for the k&ns and I had to cut a lot away just to fit those. Plus they were more of an oval shape. Those DNA pods are very long and very round they would protrude pretty far inside the sidecover on the right (if you could keep it fastened on still) and would most likely be impossible to fit on the left where the battery is.
Seems like the reason these filters are great is because they allow more surface area for air intake. So if theyre inside the sidecover you'd be cutting down on your total gain. At least on the right side anyway.
