I should have taken pics of...Moe's fluted ones but I wanted to make sure they went out today. He'll get some good ones for us the day he gets them ;-)

Yes, I received them yesterday and got round to installing your brand spanking new little gems at dusk. I say little but these hangers have some mass to them! Beautiful they are, way more than any photo can do justice to. Excellent design. Superb polishing job, these hangers passed the Lynn approval. Not only did they pass but I have yet to install any goodie that has elicited a more favorable response then your custom fluted peg hangers. Custom? Well technically speaking they are for as long as our brothers and sisters keep their paws of the phone and don't populate the body with these fine hangers!
I can’t say enough about them. Functional in an eloquent way. These hangers have a very small footprint, while they provide the leg position that we, the riders enjoy! A foot forward position.
Tested? Not yet. I fired Vera up at 9:30 and Lynn was not riding with me. She did throw a leg over and check out the new peg positions. I placed her foot in the old position and I could see her crack a huge grin. After she dismounted, she leaned back on her car’s rear quarter panel and made the comment about the beauty of the hangers.
Lynn was looking at the left side. These hangers did to the left side what the chrome chain guard did to the right: They added a dimension to a dark area. I’ll take more pictures as I can.
Thanks Brent & thank your Pop for me , Nice work.
How Sweet They Are…

Ok, Brent! Gotta have them How much? Mentioned to my wife that you were coming out with something to move the pegs forward and she is actually interested. Even though my first box from you had Jolly Ranchers instead of mints. Take Moes pictures and post them on your site, they do look sharp. Keep the Ideas coming, you know your candy store will hook us everytime! Steve

Are the pegs now far enough forward for you to stand up on them? Might help on long trips (sans pillion).

John,
Sort of. I just went out and stood on the rear pegs from the saddle. I'll try it next time I ride. Seated on the saddle with the balls of my feet on the rear pegs, my heels are in line with the rear shock's top bolt. Another way to envision the feet position is that when on the rear pegs, the feet are under the rear of the saddle.
The 20 mile ride I took Thursday night was more a Thank God I'm riding ride than it was a let's see how these repositioned rear pegs can benefit the rider. You see this ride was my first with the 440’s installed as well, soooo, I was asphalt dancing and grooving on the progressive dampening. I did drop the left peg down and put my boot on it. Nice I thought, but now put your boot back where it belongs! Re the 440’s: wow! WOW! Shazam! Dang. Thank goodness I have the front springs to install as the oem front end's shortcomings are most apparent vis-vis the 440s.
Count on a report soon about the unexpected bonus benefits of repositioning the rear pegs. Oh yeah, and a report from the passengers perspective!

Aha, There is humor in the frozen north!
Not at all. They are now where the passenger legs are not scrunched up any more. I'll take some pics of them in use after I hang some drywall this a.m. When I wrote that Brent nailed the design, well he nailed it in all ways.

I thought we did somewhere but I can't seem to find them... We should be able to send the pieces to polishing late this week. Hopefully having them ready in 3 weeks or so.
