I have to take my bike through emissions for the first time and course I've modded the heck out of it. I was wondering if any of you have had any problems with getting through emissions with after market pipes, drilled air boxes and such. I have it jetted as per Dinqua's Calculator, but would you recommend leaning out the pilot screws a bit?

This might be something you should discuss with your doctor.

Do your pipes have "off road use only" on them? I remember in Texas they would check for tampered exhaust. The '04s don't have a catalytic element, so if you have trouble, leaning out with the screws may do it.

If they don't want to pass you, can you just take it to someone who will, or doesn't it work that way over there?
