I had short TORs since I bought the bike in '02. The first winter I had my bike I eliminated the airbox and started using dual K&Ns (same as the Freak, but not the Freak kit), which woke up the short TORs quite a bit, especially on WOT. A few weeks ago I drilled two baffles out of each of my stock pipes and tried those. I'm keeping the Specialty Spares.
