11.5 is one inch shorter than stock. Not a problem. Your bike will be lowered now. You can get 1" lower front springs from progressive to level it out. It looks cool, but if you have long pipes you may drag them in sharp turns. Why did you decide to go with Harley shocks? Get a good deal? Just wondering, because progressive makes shocks for our bikes. Not sure whether the bushings/sleeves from the new shocks will fit or not. Mine came with 3 sleeves of different thickness, just matched up whichever one fit. Not sure with harley if that will be the case.

Good questions.
I have epco's that are shorter than the stock pipes, so we should be good on the 1 inch drop (this was the intention to lower the bike). Not having any other information but eyeballing the bikes (no Measurements but overall length and specs from the web) I thought that this would be a good choice and thought that I read a while back someone doing much the same thing.

I was unable to find the 430 series shock for the america/speedmaster based off of the progressive web site and this was the look I wanted.

I will update when I get the shocks, eather & time to instals (most likely middle to end of next week).this look more than the going with another shock.
