I have a twin max. Left over tool from my BMW. It works nice. No mercury to worry about. It is really more tool then we need for the job.
I have used both, the TwinMax and the Mercury tool from Brent. I like the TwinMax best.
Use it just like cbeacher said above - one clause, the higher the sensitivity the closer the sync.
