Joker,
I have the kit, bought it last year when it was on sale for $300, HUGE savings over the $550 it is now. My dealer has a local shop that'll do it, but for $250 I'll look a little more. I have a few emails/calls out to some others but have not heard back yet. In fact, this one company has a very cool coating, sounds like the nickasel but slightly different, that would be the nuts.
Max Power
I will let you know what I come up with.
Ok, that was fast...I just called Wiseco and this is the scoop:
Cost
$80.50 per cylinder
Send Jugs and sleeves to:
Wiseco Piston Company
7201 Industrial Park Blvd.
Mentor, OH 44060-5396
Attention: Cylinder Service
ph: 440-951-6600
fax: 440.951.6606
Include a letter stating what it is, (bike make, year cc's etc) and how you will be paying. Your name, address, phone numbers blah blah blah.
They will give you a call when it's done and get your credit card info then ship it back, or include that info in the letter. 7-10 days turnaround. GUARANTEED to be absolutely 100000% perfect or they will make it so.
They also recommended packing it like it was made of glass and insuring it for $2000 in case of any damage.
Sounds like they will be my choice as well. They were very helpful and said they do about 20-50 a week and are fully staffed and setup for it.
And, I do have a little set of tools for the cam tensioner that a member here sent me, I would be happy to share.
