After being trapped in three giant snowstorms this spring, all of which closed the interstate highways (my principle mode of going to work) I finally got a chance at a nice ride. Man, I dreamed of this while stranded in Rawlins, Wyoming last week waiting for I-80 to reopen. Today, temps ranging from 65°-80° (F) and sunny, sunny, sunny; my riding buddy and I rode across the mountains to the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee and then back into the Tennessee River Valley. Put in around 200 joy filled miles on the back roads over the river through Stevenson, AL and over the hill to the old grist mill in Old Salem, TN and back. Picked up some stone ground grits, too, for breakfast tomorrow.
Life is good.

She looks pretty good and I didn't even clean her up, just got on and rode. That's what I'm talkin' about...
