Hmmm, you know, I had it in at a mechanic last weekend to have them test wether the alternator was charging my battery (had it die shortly after I wired up the driving lights and thought I might've blown it).

They definitely revved the engine with a voltmeter while it was on the lift to test...

Now I've got to figure out how to bring it up to them 2 weeks after the fact AND convince them that it wasn't damaged after they worked on it.

I think I may be eating the price of repairs on this one...
