Thanks Ed, that would make sense as to why I didn't get the tach to work off of that 2 wire connector. Here's what the Haynes manual wiring diagram shows. You can see where is shows the tachometer connections with two wires, and the clock connector with 3 wires. Did we just find a misprint!! And yet, that two wire connection shows the red wire going all the way back to the ICU (not shown in the photo provided). No wonder I'm confused!!!!
