I was just looking mine over and wondering how to do something like that myself...How does it feel with your shifting? Still get your foot under it comfortably? I notice you don't have a heel toe shifter.

As we see in the bottom image, I have removed the rear peg from my heel/toe shifter arm to give me more options for foot positions on the footboard while riding, to relieve cramps, etc., and the rear peg just got in the way. I upshift with my heel bearing down about midway of the rear arm, and downshift by pressing down with my toe on the front peg. You do need to adjust the shifter rod carefully to ensure full engagement of the trans while shifting, but it does work well - shifting is quicker and more positive.

Thought I was going a bit crazy after Laurie's post. In one picture there's a heel-toe shifter, in another it's gone!! Phew... glad you explained things Daniel, saved me some anxiety!
Btw... I like what you did to make those floorboards work better for you. Very innovative, like something Triumph should have done in the first place. I mean, not everyone's the same, right?

Nice mod... will look into doing this one myself. Quote:

Reminds of of a quote from Monty Python's Life of Brian, where Brian's addressing the crowd beneath his window...
[Brian] You're all individuals! [Crowd, in unison] Yes! Yes! We're all individuals! [Individual, at rear of crowd] I'm not!

As we are not all the same, DON'T make Triumph make it a mod for them all...
I do have tiny feet (I think I'm a US ladies size 6) and long legs (my work trousers are 32" inside leg). For me the 'boards as they are are fine. Very comfy, and right for me.
Yeah tell everyone about the mod, it's easy to alter something but you can't make holes smaller that easily...

Precisely. I suggest a 'grind and test' method, to assure you don't take out too much metal and overadjust the angle. Always I take great care to make all my mods reversible. In this case, since you are grinding away some chrome plating, keep your good eye open for rusting in that area, or maybe a dab of silver paint to seal the wound.
