The bolt is a 1/4-20 x 4.5" s/s with a nylock nut, both from West Marine. Works good, adjustable tension, looks good, no rust. No extra charge for me to shlep out in the monsoon to the shed to snap the pic. You still could prolly work in that neat 1/8" spacer tab.
