The Dynajet needle has a c-clip and four slots on the top of the needle. (By the way, this is the stock needle for a 06 865 Speedmaster) So it is not shim but rather a position on the needle. In the windows program, it jumps out of the shim window and into a position window - with settings like upper, middle, standard and lower. Or something like that - doing this from memory (on a mac right now).
