Hi Folks. Well, thanks to the many encouraging replies about riding 2-Up on these bikes in another thread, my wife and I checked out an America today to see if she can comfortably sit with her knee not being sharply bent. She's had knee surgery, so we don't want to make her uncomfortable.
Long story short, she was happy. So, I traded in my V-Star 950 for a 2010 Black/New England White Speedmaster. An expensive lesson, (but not as bad as it could have been). As nice as the 950 was, it just wasn't for me as that bike was very low and very easily scraped floorboards and brackets with my riding style. Now I have my own Speedmaster, and I LIKE it.
I'll build this bike up over time for light touring, but a Clearview Roadster screen, and passing lamps are on order. I'll get a spare set of docking posts from Easy Brackets to share the saddle bags between the two bikes for now. YEEHHAAWWW.. I'm stoked
