Best wishes from the Pacific Northwest Ray. Especially coming from someone who went down, almost 2 years ago, and got a new upper arm/shoulder out of it. I'm still not 100% and may never be, but I've been finally able to get back on and ride.
As the others have said, do your boring physical therapy, it does help. And don't think you can't ride or write again. If you think that, then it will happen. Just focus on getting your hand in shape a little bit at a time.
