Ray, I hope you wont need to, but if the worst happens you could contact NABD to see what suggestions they have so you can keep on riding
A few years ago, my ex brother-in-law lost his right leg below the knee in a bike accident, and we all thought his riding days were over, and as he's a dispatch rider, his job too. I don't know how he does it but he's been back on the road a couple of years now, so there is hope for you
