SO I ordered some Progressive 440's and the front springs from Eddy this weekend for my America, had talked with the wife about it in general terms but no dollars attached to the conversation. Soooo... when I tell her I went ahead and ordered them and the coin involved I was ready for a bit of static, instead she asks 'Have you ordered a new seat yet? I hate the one on it.'!!! So a new Corbin setup is now on order, solo, pillion and two backrests. I knew she was cool when I met her.

That's awesome, Rich! That is a good woman you have there! You must have done really well for valentine's day this year. Let us know how you like the 440's after you put them on.

I think she was feeling guilty over all of the Painting etc she had me do around the house. She put together a big get together (about 40 people) and asked me to paint out the downstairs of the house 5 days before the event (Grandson's Baptism). So every day after work I got to paint until 10 pm or so, but got it done in time on top of a myriad of other Honey-Dew's.
I'll let you know how the 440's are, I'm really looking forward to the ride improvement.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Yes she was, I think those are in the future here as well as she has mentioned them once or twice, hopefully before the Midwest meet. I just thought I should give the checkbook a break for a month or so. Little does she realize that once I have the hard bags, I'll need a paint job since the bags only come in unpainted and black
I'm thinking about using the Tangerine and White scheme that Triumph offered on the T-100 a few years back.
