Another Question to throw out there .
Every now and then , particully when its damp outside , on first start the engine starts fine but has erratic idle and the carbs (right) pops as if blowing back ? this clears after a few minutes at fast idle . Pretty sure its not the valves , thinking maybe sticking needle ? float ? dirtyjets ?

the bikes an 02 standard air box ,tors , standard jets me thinks and AI kit fitted
ANY THOUGHTS

check for loose rubbers. The oem manifold rubber clamps have a tendecy to be a bit loose and will allow air to leak in. When the motor warms up the rubber expands and all is good again.

I going to hijack for a minuet.
1. would this sound something like purging a NOS system.
2. Would it make my air fuel mix off and more backfiring the usual.
