Here's my bike before and after replacing the stock shocks with black Progressive 440's.
The ride is considerably better, and I prefer the look of black shocks. I removed the Progressive labels from the new shocks after taking this photo.
I also used the
Joker Machine Shock Bolt Dress-Up Kit, but I've since replaced the gold zinc plated bolts with plain stainless.
