before i throw my 2c in, i want to preface this by stating thats its just an opinion, and one without malice. the bikes are completely different. to build a comparable BA version (IMO) you would have to do quite a few things....
lower the bike,
drop the headlight about 5 inches,
get huge fenders with long skirts to cut up,
get thinner spoke rims of larger diameter,
and you still dont have the huge design element which is the frame with those spars running alongside the tank. its a fine idea, please dont mistake my critique; all i'm pointing out is that to do it right will take alot of work.. short of that yer gonna end up with the "monster" that you fear. the R7 is art, thats why it never made production. its hard to reproduce art on a grand scale. our bikes (especially in our minds) are art as well, but poster art as compared to DaVinci.
