Hey Guys - We just made up a bunch of our new Cable Retainers (wire guides). We wanted to do something to really dressup that area so we added an area on top where we put a few different designs. There are 4 different retainers - Smooth, Straight Flute (aka The Spatula), Diagonal Flute and Union Jack. We should be able to get them polished up pretty quick and will have them on the site ASAP. Let me know what you think. -brent

Looks good, though it almost seems like the vertical side needs a little something, moreso than the top.

I like them and agree with FJ. How about repeating the pattern on the vertical? Maybe even the Union Jack?
Are they aluminum or SS?

Thanks Ya'll!! We do indeed have plans to make them in black. it'll be a little while though.
We did some conceptual drawings with a design on the front (both in addition to the top and the front alone) and it just looked too busy. The pictures may be a bit deceiving because the parts look absolutley beautiful on the bike.
They are made of polished stainless steel.

Thanks Brent, Something else to add to my list. My wife walked in the den last week and asked me why I was hanging wallpaper. I said, "I'm not, this is my list of stuff to buy from Brent". The retainers look great in the pictures too. I'll have a spatula one if you don't mind. After all, what good is a "Skillet" without a spatula? Ride Safe!

Well too bad my T100 sprocket cover kind of negates that... because it would be yet another union jack on my bike

" We do indeed have plans to make them in black. it'll be a little while though. ".......Always us chrome-a -phobes having to wait.... just another case of "the man keeping us down"... Oh well, good ( black) things come to those who wait. Just a thought Brent, have you ever thought of putting your gas tank logo on them.... that would look cool and be a good advertising gimmick...... ride safe.... Gordon

John - Yes, these will of course include mints :-)
Steve - We're still waiting on the UJ Lifter Dressup Kits. I hope to have them back from plating in the next couple weeks. In the meantime, we will have the cable retainers on the site. If you order one, we can definitely add it to the existing order.
Dennis - Actually, when I told Pop that the straight fluted one looked like a spatula (he designed that one), he jokingly created a spatula fender bib. It was pretty funny. I'll see if I can find it and post a pic.
Mike - I've thought of putting the logo on stuff but I figured there'd be little interest beyond myself and Pop.

Hey Brent 1. Do you have all the fender bibs back in stock now? 2. I asked you about these cable doodads ages ago but got mine elsewhere (one less thing for our customs guys to overcharge me for!). They look good though mate, nice job as per.

Quick question for all you chromaphobes. What design would you like to see in black. We'll be doing the Brit flag milled after they're powder coated, like the black clutch lifter dressup kit. Would anyone like to see the other designs in black as well?
Thanks!

That will be perfect! I am not quite a chromaphobe, I prefer to go sparingly on the chrome.

We're still working on the black ones. They're at the plater's right now. We hope to be able to cut on them in a week or so. The polished ones are also at the plater's and should be on the site pretty quick.
