I was also worried about the durability of the steel vice the aluminium sprocket, like I said earlier, the 10,000 miles with good wear has laid that concern to rest. I can corroborate what Brent is saying about long lead time from S.S. I'd ordered from them directly, and it was an easy month, give or take a week, before I got my sprocket from them, maybe these JT people are a little more business-saavy.
