I was there...It was a great Day.....mamouth task for the Police and the organisers...but I think the point for me was that Bikers are a special breed....we came together to show support, respect, and raise money as well.....it was fun too....and the crowds certainly were out and supported us...even the surrounding villages were out!
I think bikers doing things like this can only be a good thing...
It was a great day...Dont mind admitting I had tears in my eyes at some points...
Nice to see a journalist eating a bit of humble pie...what an arrogant so and so and complete idiot
Anyway enough of scum like that...great day and I hope the troups realise that we are with them and support them

I think that twit of a reporter is due about 10,000 wedgies!
After reading the comments section, I'm surprised he hasn't gone into hiding! Please keep us updated on the reactions to this story!
Thanks, Tom.
But, what do I know?

Thats the British media for you!
Thats why the great unwashed masses believe that bikers are all hairy, cause trouble and ride diesel motorcycles.
Perhaps someone should organise a ride out to Mr Hughes house next. I'm sure there would be a good turn out for that one as well.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

No matter what the reporter said, this was a noble cause and worthy of praise and recognition. I would join such an event in a heartbeat!
Live to love, love to live.

Keith, if you fancy it, there's the Ride To The Wall in October.
I've got a comfy sofa you could kip on and I'm only 15mins from it
I only got one bike though and the pillion is taken
