Has anyone shortened the stems on the rear turn signals? I was looking at them today and couldn't come up with anything quite yet. Any ideas or help?

Shortening the stems really cleans up the look of the back end. Now do you just want to shorten the stems, or do you want to lay down the license plate as well? Zmilin posted this gem a while back: http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...part=1&vc=1I made one over a year ago using Z's instructions and it's super awesome! Cost under $25 including the price of the sheet metal, fasteners, rustoleum, and short stems from JP Cycle!

I had a friend make me some shorter stems on his Lathe. Sprayed them black and fitted up some smaller lights.

I just tried shortening and tapping today. Didn't work out so good. I've ordered new stems, we'll see how that goes!

I used threaded tube and stainless spacers available at the local hardware store and made my own, cheap and looks good.
