I'm with Mountainman on this one ...... Tank bags lead to scratched tanks.... never a good thing. Between installing and removing the bag and dust buildup under the bag you're guaranteed to damage your paint, ever seen what throw over bags do to a rear fender? Same effect with a tank bag but to a lesser extent.
