Has anyone used the Flash2Pass garage door opener on their bike? If so does it work as advertised?
'06 America, Raask foot controls, the bike use to be Graphite and Silver, now its Red and Black.

I've got one , I think it's the same model.
It's very unreliable, sometimes doesn't even work at all.

Now that made me laugh. Especially since he has "two spares". FWIW, I just wired a momentary switch to a keychain remote for my Genie brand opener. It's a whole lot cheaper (cost of the remote plus $5 for the switch). Switch is mounted here:  Quote:

I bought an extra remote to do that with a switch in the console, couldn't find a suitable water proof switch. I just carry the remote in my jacket pocket.

I've since replaced that momentary switch with a rubber boot covered marine switch from Grainger. But it is too bulky to put on the console. Quote:

I put the F2P in all 3 of my cars and it has worked very well. Now I ordered a transmitter for my bike, the feature that sold me was no more remote to loose or have stolen.

Erwin. Its a garage door opening system installed on the bike so that you don't have to take your hands off of the handlebars. You flash your high beams twice and it activates the door opener. www.f2ptechnologies.com
