I have now mailed a letter to the guy... for the second time. It includes my complete vehicle identification number, sale price of the fender and approximate sale date, my name, address and phone number and a brief history tracing my bike through the previous owner and back to the dealer where it was purchased new, indicating that to my knowledge the fender is not stolen. . I friggin' hope that is sufficient to serve his needs because i'm now officially sick of the whiny, arrogant, condescending remarks he keeps making in private messages about this thread, his supreme, unquestionable honesty, and my obvious ignorance of the laws to which he is trying to submit. So fine! I had never heard of those kinds of ridiculous requirements! I was completely ignorant to the facts, and i'm a bad, bad person for starting this thread, which clearly offended him, so that i could gain insight to his query.
