Well I'm mounting my new tires so I called the dealer that I'm told can speed balance them for me and they have closed. I contacted a couple more dealers and they only bubble balance bike tires. So my question is do I bubble them or keep searching for someone who can speed balance them??

Well considering I don't balance at all since the tires I use have a little circle on them to line up with the valve stem and so far haven't needed to. But in the past I would spin balance mine on a stand. I don't mean on a machine but just by gravity. You need to have a way to allow the wheel to spin freely and lightly spin it with your hand and the heavy part will settle to the bottom so add weight opposite.I use solder for weight when needed and wrap it around the spoke nipple. Speed balancing is better but bubble balancing will work.

I use an old, antique bubble balancer to do my car tires. I suppose there is nothing as exact as a super duper spin ballancer with digital display, however, mine seems to work just fine.

I balance mine on a truing stand, like Dog posted. I use the self-adhesive wheel weights. I scotch tape them on til its right, then peel 'n stick.
When I switched to alloy wheels, I used Dyna Beads, but I don't like them. Sometimes they settle in the wrong spot and I get vibration. They probably get knocked around when I hit a bump or pot hole, its only centrifugal force that holds them.

I'm not sure which way mine are balanced. I just took them to the local bike shop (They sell new and used Honda, Yammie and Polaris. Dirt, street and sleds) and they balance them for me. Less than $10 if I remember right. They said they can't balance one sided wheels so I'm guessing that it's a dynamic (spinning)balancer?

either way is fine. Your concern should be with the person doing the balancing. The wheel should have its heavy point marked then the tire dot lined up with that. Then balanced. However if an excessive amount of weight is needed, a type A person will break the beads and rotate the tire carcass on the wheel to dial in a proper balance using little to no weights. Taking it a step further, a different tire might be in order. Okay. I don’t think so. Money is not made by being type A. You get what you get. Ride it and if you ‘feel it’ bring it back. Me? I static balance using Marc Parnes’ balancer and strip weights. And no, I don’t rotate the carcass for a heavy balance. Call me a lazy type A. Or too cheap to buy a No-Mar Classic tire changer.

I dont drive to fast but runs soomth up to about 90mph
