Had my tank off and noticed the Pingle leaking slightly from around the gasket.
When I installed it all I could find was 1/32 thick gasket material.
Looking for a piece of 1/16 material about 1" x 3" to make a new one out of.
Can anybody help?

TonyG,

I have all the gasket material you'd ever need. Let me know....

Thanks Grump and Mike.
I might try the Seal-All this week and if it doesn't work Mike I'll maybe look you up this coming Saturday.

Use it with your gasket material and let it set up a few hours or overnight. My Pingel hasn't leaked since day one using Seal All.

A decent auto parts store will carry various thicknesses of gasket material. Often they keep it behind the parts ordering counter so it's best to ask for it. Last time I bought some they had about 4 or 5 different sizes to choose from.

Thanks Sal,
Most of the big guys like Autozone and NAPA look at you like you're nuts when I asked for this.
I did find one small NAPA shop down in the city that at least knew what I was talking about....but couldn't get any.
I tried 2 different carburetor repair shops but they were no help.
I'm gonna take Cruiser03 up on his offer and use some Seal-All on it this time.

If you run into trouble, contact Gary James here. He's the expert on that gasket / Pingle stuff.
