Yep, I have 2 Gil coils here that pass the dreaded Ohm check but they are fubar, run ok at over 3000 rpm but below it misfire like a nutter.
Get a 2nd hand coil and try it...
As for PVL are same as Nology?? are you sure? they may look the same but 2 different companies.. would be very surprised if they are identical.
