 Air intake rubbers... check yours!

I found this today on my bike... heavy cracking on the carb intake rubbers (the rubber boots connecting carbs to airbox). The cracks don't go right through but are deep and a true concern. I filled them with polyurethane caulking as a temporary measure until I get replacements.

She's an '03. Stored in a Garage until '09 with only 2000 km when I bought 'er.

I got an 07 and was playing in my carbs just last week. Noticed the exact smae thing. But not as bad as yours tho.

Mine started doin that but it started comin apart right at the box
2005 America 145 mains, , #48 pilots, , k&n pod filters, ported intakes manifolds, nology coils and wires, pro com CDI, 62 HP at wheel 68,000 hard miles still runs great gone "traded"

Yup, noticed that on my 07 TBA after about the first 2000 miles! What a piece of garbage! That's what prompted me to rip out the airbox and put on pod filters.

my original rubbers from 2001(like those above) looks perfect but I replaced them with new ones for better fit with clamps
