But just to swing back to the original topic I'd like to mention the degree of difficulty (hard) in extracting the connector on the end of the stator leads. Those leads go up and behind the carbs on their way to beneath the seat. It took some doing to get them out but I wanted to keep the connector attached just to get an idea of how hard it might be to thread the new stator leads and connector back up. It won't be easy... let's put it that way.
