I got an email saying Triumph was going to "expand" from the three existing "familes" (Classic, Urban Sport, Cruiser) to seven total families. From 16 models across the three familes now, to a total of 23 models across seven familes, by the end of 2012.
Motorcycle.com I'm thinking Scooters, Off-road/motocross, maybe a Goldwing-like Rocket, Kid's bikes (50cc,80cc), and hopefully some smaller displacement motorcyles that might realize much better fuel economy for street use. 125's, 250's, 350's, 500's....like the good old days!
What I don't want to see is just adding more "Special Editions" of already existing models. Those are okay, but to me, that is not a "new model", and it would not constitute and expansion of families, either.
