Hi All
I’m sure I’m having a senior moment with this on but here goes..........
The rubber boot which protects the rear brake switch from water and other crap has perished and needs to be replaced.
I’ve tried to locate the connectors on the rear brake switch wires so I can disconnect them and slip the boot over the top...but I cant seem to find any.
I’ve traced the wires back and they seem to feed into a large multi connector under the riders seat.....this connector is too large to slip the boot over
I’d prefer not to cut any wires so I was considering leaving the partially perished boot in place, splitting/ cutting the new boot, apply some silicone to the inner surface of the new boot and sticking it around the partially perished boot.
Has anyone here ever replaced the rubber boot ...if you have I’d like to know how you did it?
Cheers
