I'm happy with it. It doesn't completely block the turbulence from under the screen, but it's not uncomfortable up to about 80mph (my comfort zone). I'm 6'2" and wear a 3/4 helmet. I got the +4 with the top recurve. I'll be picking up another full coverage Shoei in the next few weeks and expect that to eliminate all discomfort on longer rides. I'll keep the 3/4 for local summer rides. I agree with the others, adding lowers should give you the best result, I'm just not a big fan of the look. Would probably use them if I did more longer rides (or in colder weather). I'll soon be switching from an 8" to 12" wide toolbag under the trees and am curious if that makes any difference.
As for the cutouts, they'll accomodate the factory driving lights of the America/Speedmaster.

Not sure from the angle of your pic, but I think the lowers on the new Clearview may be just a couple inches longer.
