I was in Little Rock today and stopped by LR BMW/Triumph/Ducati. The young man I usually deal with for parts, bike gossip, etc. told me that today was their last day of business. I'm sure someone in LR will pick up BMW (was one of only two BMW dealers in the state and THE Triumph dealer for AR). Not sure if Triumph has enough sales history in AR to get another dealer to try to pick them up. Tough times. They were a really good bunch of people and a good to deal with dealership.

If you get time head up to Missouri to Eldorado Springs, the Triumph dealership there is one the best around. Paul and I spent a day riding bikes there off the Triumph truck,If I buy another bike it would be from them..

Yes two thumb-up dealer...............
One of the big problems of "staying" in business right now is " non-productive cost" that are mandated.... it is very tough......ie you have alot of cost associated with start-up i.e. building , etc.... that takes decades to pay off ,then now is a precarious time. Add to that "mandated , unproductive cost" and the guillotine of insolvency looms ! It is tough right now ! Debt free is great but getting there to limit your business liability and stay in business is tough.

I agree on El Dorado Springs.... always felt fortunate to have two of the closest dealers with such good reputations and service.
