Too bad things are like they are now. When I grew up the chief of police also worked at the local gas station/gen. store/gun shop/bar (yes it was all of those and had to walk through the gun shop to get to the bar in the back. The only other officer worked at the local car wash. They used to pick me up hitch hiking and give me a ride. When they caught you for something minor the first time they let you go and told you they better not catch you doing that again. If you got caught again then your own stupidity got you in trouble. A little weed would be no big deal and at worst they would make you dump it out, speeding you would probably get a warning as long as you didn't make a habit of it or going insanely fast or try and run when they hit the lights. They were just regular guys not like the super trooper wannabes we have these days. I understand why they are like that since there is so much more violence toward cops now but some take it too far on an innocent person.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
