Stopped in Cycle Gear to check on this helmet accessory, and for $20 it's the smartest money I've spent.

Fits inside the shield opening, and just covers the tip of the nose, with a fairing that keeps your exhaled breath below the shield. Thin leatherlike material (I'm sure it's not), and it really works.

Will probably come out when weather warms up, but now I can keep the shield down a lot more when stopped at lights, etc.

If I had to buy another helmet, I would buy another SHOEI RF-1000. I've been very satisfied with it. Even my shield still looks great after over 14k miles. It's a great system, through and through.
