Is "Kiss my grits" a southern term of endearment or something muttered a millisecond before the first left/right is thrown? Being a simple-minded country boy, my only journey to the south was the Georgia rally a few years ago.

How about riding....... "It was cold enough to freeze my grits", or "Wet enough to drown my grits", "Hot enough to bake/fry my grits".
