Hey mountainman I had a few questions for you...
I'm in the middle of an acewell install and I'm curious about you magnet set-up on the sprocket bolt. What is the width on that magnet? The reason I'm asking is I mounted my sensor in the same place, and I used a RE magnet on the sprocket bolt. My magnet is .5 in thick and a rough measurement of the gap reads 5/16 or 7.94mm. How picky is the sensor accuracy? It seems if you used a bigger magnet you could possibly interfere with thee chain adjuster (ie 2 re mags stacked were 1 in thick so im guessing I'll need a 3/4).
My second question is about the led indicators on the speedo. My plan is to just hook up the signal indicator due to me switching to led signals. The rest of my console is incandescent bulbs. The flasher I ordered came with a sample led lamp in the shape of our bulbs, but failed to work. I might have got a dud, but would it be better for me to change out the console bulb or hook up the speedos leds? I'm just saying for visibility purposes........ Thanks for you help
