Okay... I did the road test today. Went out on the bike (first time this year) and had a chance to check out the Acewell. The speedo was completely inaccurate but that's due to not dialing in the wheel diameter properly. Will fine tune over the next few days. The tach was a little jumpy I thought... but that might be due to not having enough wire wrapped around the spark plug wire. Will look into that.
It's very easy to read. I have a lot to get used to on the Acewell, as it is has quite a few different functions. But I can see once I get it set up right, it is going to be a nice replacement for the stock speedo. And aesthetically speaking... it is so nice to be rid of the stock (always thought it looked just sort of stuck on, like an afterthought). The new speedo gives the front a nice clean look.
