I've had the same info Jim. I have just emailed them back as you're post wasn't up yet and no doubt will be told the same thing again.
Mind you, they did say they wouldn't mind someone like myself send them my speedo drive so they could use it as a prototype to develop one.
No discount or anything though

Btw, I also emailed Acewell or their parent company and was told I had to ask the Aus Distributor any questions. Geez, here we go again. Another middle man fleecing the poor downtrodden staffo.
When the dust settles and Keith can get off his instrument
and back on his bike after it stops snowing over there, I might be able to get a better picture of what model I want, and some answers to some of my questions too.
Until then it might be in the "little too hard basket" just for now.
