Okay, I'll say it, "Dude, just buy a Bonneville or Thruxton and get it over with!"
(nice work on those rearsets, tho')

I don't care much for the way the seat looks, and think the bars should be a little lower, but otherwise I kind of like it. Having said that, I also wonder why you wouldn't start with a Bonnie or Thruxton if you were building this.

I actually like it ,though I think the seat looks a bit cobbed together.I can understand someone doing this, maybe he has a wife screaming in his ear "your not getting another bike!" and he decides to make do with what hes got.Id ditch the fron fender though.

That owner was on here for a short while. I think he tried to sell it last year on Ebay, but no luck. He had it at the Triumph Come Home Rally in PA in '08. It's different, for sure.

Do you think it would be any harder than the former Colespeed bike?

I kind of like it, not for me but well done. I agree with just buy a Thruxton as opposed to going that route but it is cool because it's different.

Maybe not, but, I think Cole was using his passenger pegs and was going in a straight line down the salt flats.

Me too. I wouldn't own it, I don't believe - But it surely has no less appeal than some of the 'stuff'( polite choice of wording) I've seen applauded here as being innovative, charming, or, artsy. This guy, at least, made something that has the appearance of a 'streetable', purpose built motorcycle and not some unridable garage blanket support. My hat is off to the gentleman who put that puppy together.

I saw this bike at Triumph Come Home. I don't think he'd done the seat like that yet. I snapped a few pictures of the mesh side covers. They looked really nice in person.
