To be fair, Limehouse Lizzy were actually better than Thin Lizzy when I saw them many moons ago. One of the guitarists for them actually was a guitar technician for Brian Robertson I think.
Theres another band, although not strictly a tribute band, I'm off to see in the near future called Hayseed Dixie, and I know a few people on this site know of them very well. Now they are something else. They kinda started doing Kiss and ACDC covers in a bluegrass style but could easily do a gig just using their own material and also the singer Barley Scotch does ride a rocket 3.
As to being a funkey monkey Chris and Ivan, alas all I did at Gaydon was miscalculate how strong that slaughterhouse ale actually was. Mind you there was a fair few people strutting their stuff that night....Ivan, Jane, Keith,Dave Hedgehog, blimey I think that even Gina was dancing as well!
