Poor choice of words - it was the starter relay. Under the tank. Here's the whole thread of my experience.
This could also be called the "headlight relay", as this relay has a lead to the headlight, that cuts power to it during startup to reduce the load on the battery. That extra pole on the relay means it's not as common as four-pole relays which can be found in any autoparts store.
