My partner at work was looking at the picture of the America I'm getting, and said it's a nice bike, but to be perfect he'd make some changes. I said, "oh yeah?" and he said the bars would have to be a little shorter and straighter, black out the engine so there isn't as much chrome, and it would be really cool. Then asked if I would do that. I told him if I wanted to do that I'd get the Speedmaster, and before settling on my bike, I had been torn between the two. He didn't believe me that Triumph had such a thing, so I pulled up a photo of Soren's bike. He was a bit crestfallen that he had this great plan to make the most awesome bike, and it already exists.

I really enjoyed getting a good laugh. Doesn't bother me, my bike is awesome too!

This is probably what he imagined.

The Speedmaster with blacked out bits is a very nice motorbike, but the 02 Cardinal Red Bonneville America remains the "perfect bike", even among folks who don't realize they know that

I think Soren's bike would look good with blacked out pipes. Might be wrong, but in my imagination looking at it, the look would be awesome.

The perfect bike is always the one in your own driveway isn't it?
